Check out this Pikachu Cafe in Japan…

Saturday, July 19th, 2014

According to Geekologie, there is a restaurant in Japan that is serving Pikachu-themed food. “The cafe will be open for a limited time (until August 31st) outside the Pokemon XY movie exhibit at Tokyo City View in Roppongi Hills.” Here is a sampling of the food you can order:

I don’t know if I could eat Pikachu’s little face, though…

Rapidash Sculpture

Saturday, July 5th, 2014

I love horses and most especially fantasy horses. Rapidash has always been a favourite Pokemon of mine so when I stumbled across this gorgeous sculpture on my Etsy feed, I had to share it on Sprite Stitch.

The artist, Evgeny Hontor, also has other Pokemon in their Etsy shop. They’re all rather unusual but are nice – check out the shop!

Epic Pokemon Pattern Generation II

Tuesday, June 17th, 2014

Here at Sprite Stitch we do love our epic patterns, and we have quite a few now! It’s always super exciting when somebody actually finishes one – just like this!

This is, as the post title suggests, the Epic Pokemon Pattern Generation II – another of Servotron’s patterns – and it was stitched by forum member icedragonj. She will be getting it framed soon, and I’m sure it will be displayed with pride!

Haunter Appliqué Hoop

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014

IggyStarpup has been featured on the blog before, but I just could not resist this delightful Haunter Hoop!

Haunter and its hearts are made of felt which have been appliquéd on to some pretty fabric, and set in a gorgeous green hoop. The embroidered words at the top are in a similar green, which just brings it all together. I might just have to get me one. :)
