ABitOfImagination on Etsy makes these fab video game themed light boxes. Here’s a few I picked out to share.
They are all made using perler beads for the designs, and a shadow box with a light fitting. I really like the effect the light has on the perlers. They’d make lovely display pieces, or great little night lights!
Lots of people like to have a star at the top of their Christmas tree, but how many would have a Staryu? I certainly would.
This fab perler bead topper was made by Amber of Etsy shop BurritoPrincess. I love the little Pokemon on the rest of the tree too. Do check out Amber’s other listings, there’s some great stuff in her shop. And if you prefer a Starmie to Staryu, she made one of those as well!
It’s difficult to see in this small picture, so check it out on deviantART. VioletValhalla says, “Here it is… The BIGGEST fuse bead piece I’ve ever done: 62 in x 32 in! Approximately 53440 fuse beads! MASSIVE. Months of work, very frustrating because of the size… But I’m a huge Phantasy Star IV fan so it was worth it. The Profound Darkness is the final boss in PSIV. This is her final form.” Very nice!
ZenAlpha makes very cool 3D Perler scenes. Zen says, “I build all the objects and characters with Perler beads, but to save many, many hours I have a high quality print made for the backgrounds. It cost’s a little bit more but I think the results are much better. I build little stands of varying heights for any objects or characters I want elevated off the background. The Chrono Trigger one looks really nice in person since the two trees on either side are in the foreground against the glass with Crono and the party inset. Gives it a cool ‘looking in’ kind of effect.”
Here is the “wall of fame!”
