Peach mural in Beercade bathroom

Thursday, October 9th, 2014

Peach seems pretty shocked to see someone using the bathroom. So, I had to do a bit of digging to figure out where this is. Apparently, it’s at a pretty amazing sounding place: Beercade, in Omaha, Nebraska. It’s an arcade combined with a bar that serves craft beer. Who wants to go visit?

Neato Zelda crafts

Thursday, September 4th, 2014

This is a hand painted, wooden box by Queen-Uriel. She used watercolors and permanent markers.

This Zelda blanket was crocheted by mama24boyz.

And I think I may have shared this before, but it’s awesome: a life-sized paper craft Zelda. The paper model was created by Juke, and the finished model was made by minidelirium.

And this is a handmade triforce lamp, constructed of wood and plastic, by TheBackPackShoppe.

I found a lot more awesome Zelda crafts, but I can’t share them all here. Stay tuned tomorrow for sewn and stitched Zelda goodies.

Minecraft Room

Friday, August 29th, 2014

Some people painted their small son’s room to look like a Minecraft dungeon. It’s pretty crazy!

I love that there are 3D, working torches.

Hand-painted Okami paper fan

Ganjamira, on deviantART, painted Amaterasu onto a paper and bamboo fan. It’s beautiful!

The Props Shop

Monday, May 19th, 2014

Etsy is a great source of items, supplies and inspiration too. I stumbled upon The Props Shop while scrolling through my Etsy activity feed and found some really awesome pieces in the store!

This set of three transforming masks from Majora’s Mask are fantastic! The shop has a lot of Zelda items; masks, weapons, rupees and this pretty great Deku Shield:

There’s also other cool items in the shop, like Palutena’s Bow from Kid Icarus, which you can either use as the bow or as the two swords:

And one of my favourite items, a Helix Fossil:

The artist uses all sorts of materials to create her items, like wood, foam, plastic and more! You can find these items and other awesomeness in the Etsy store (link below) – definitely worth checking out!
