It looks like it will cluck at any moment! Better not hit it, though.
Zeldette has plenty more Zelda stuff in her shop, such as a fabulous Bunny Hood and even a baby Zora!

I can’t even imagine how long this must have taken, or how difficult it would have been to build, but it is impressive!

Wednesday, January 7th, 2015

Stitchmond from the forums stitched these marvellous Mario powerups.

He says, “I did the Super Mario World suits and powerups in backstitch style, like blackwork, except using the normal color palette instead of all black.”
I like that each colour has its own blackwork pattern, and it gives a very interesting effect to the sprites!

smbquilt

There are 6,503 pieces to this quilt, it took 5 and a half months to assemble and the whole thing measures 1.9m x 2.2m (about 6’2″ x 7’2″). It was a gift for Xanatos’ sister – what an amazing thing to receive!

Concrete Thwomp

Thursday, January 1st, 2015

I have a Thwomp in my bedroom, it is a plush and scarily accurate looking. However, being plush prevents it from being as accurate as this concrete masterpiece:

The maker wrote a how-to guide so everyone can have a Thwomp (if they want one, that is. And why wouldn’t you?) I have to say, I never thought of using concrete for a craft project!
