Ninja Gaiden cross stitch

Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013

Miss Clawful made this awesome image of Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom. She is such an impeccable time keeper that she is able to tell us that it took 11 hours and 10 minutes. I love how the colors pop on the black Aida cloth.

Stitched purses by funkymonkey

Funkymonkey used 10 count waste canvas to stitch this purse and cell phone pouch. It was difficult to stitch on those fabrics, but it was definitely worth it.

Home Sweet Home 3D out of Perler Beads

Tuesday, January 15th, 2013

This is a 3D Perler version of your home in Pallette Town in Pokémon Red and Blue. According to the artist, Werbenjagermanjensen, “It took forever. I decided to do this because I love the old Pokémon red and blue versions. This seemed like a good sprite to do, because it’s the starting point in the game. I used gray, dark gray, black, and white beads for this project. The hardest part had to be the panels for the roof. I had always thought the grass would turn out pretty neat, and I guess I was right. I really like that aspect.”
