Gege crocheted up this amazing blanket for he husband’s birthday. She describes herself as a little obsessed with mario, let’s see what you all think! I’ll approximate the size at about 9′ long by 6′ wide…its huge!
also, its actually not done yet…it still needs a border!

Wow!, I’m impressed. That must have took ages. Wonderful job.

I would like to suggest that the border be all SMB1-style “ground” tiles. They don’t show up in the panels and it would be a nice touch.

That’s some impressive work..
Personnally, I think there may be too much going on. Too much to see (and admire !). One single scene would have had enough action to make a single blanket !
But still, that’s incredible !!

Well, *i’m* jealous of the skills ๐

Thank you everyone!!! Josh, great minds think alike. ๐ I was debating between the ground tiles and the bricks- bricks have only 2 colors which would make for an easier (or maybe quicker) border….but, like you said, I don’t have the ground bricks in the blanket. Either way, I saw the border like a picture frame around the blanket and either of those would work. I needed a break from crocheting, but I’ll be starting the border very soon. ๐ Thanks again!!!

My Mom is 83 and has crocheted for years. I just spent 5 hours online looking for a pattern for a Megaman blanket for someones first baby. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

This is the most amazing blanket I have ever seen. I love that you included scenes from throughout the whole game! If there is a pattern for this I would love to get it.

I have been trying to learn how to do this… but I cant figure out how to do it with a lot of extra yarn on the back. Is there a way to fix that?
