This frame seems to be very useful!

  2. oh my goodness i can’t wait to see this one finished =D

  3. hiroko – I noticed that too!

it seems so easy to turn as you stitch…I know my frame is a total pain in the *** to change to blank areas of the stitching…

michael – where did you get that frame? and do you like it?

  4. Hey everyone!

I actually got that frame at Wal-Mart, as they were eliminating their stitching section. I think it was something like $8. It is cool because you can make both bars ratchet in either direction, so just rotate them to get your cloth where you want it, and then turn one of them back a few clicks to tighten it up.

I am using 18-count for this project, and will still just be barely able to fit the ivy rectangle within the bounderis of that frame. I am now nearly done with all of the lettering (and used an enitre 8-yard skein of 947 [burnt orange] just for the letters!!).

Thank you everyone for your encouragement!
