jessica – nope. machine quilting/sewing youre still cutting out pieces to make the design etc…and your physically manipulating the pieces and controlling the machine as you sew them together. its a skill, you can still ‘mess up’.
machine embroidery (as best I understand it) is simply uploading a design, loading thread colors, and hitting go…Im pretty sure the entire design is done on autopilot.
so yeah, i think they are quite different…nothing against machines, just autopilot machines.
