Actually, the two small “stupid” squares are in Tetris. If you clear a line and there are single blocks that extend up from that line, you’ll end up with single blocks. Just sayin’.

true…but then they would be part of the bottom unit which is all one piece…not falling down like in the picture.

Actually, there are block units in tetris… Or at least, all the versions I’ve played. I did not play the original tetris on gameboy.
