Johloh was rather annoyed when someone make clocks from NES cartridges, but this guy took it one step further.
The advantage may not have been the best controller in the world, but what’s next? If any one dares make a clock out of a NES *shakes fist wildly*

I admit, I really don’t understand the hate for repurposing these items. I still play some classic Nintendo games, but my love is for the game itself, not the container. Glad to see someone is making use out of what is most likely broken pieces. I mean, come on guys, the cartridges and controllers weren’t that durable when I was using my original Nintendo, much less 20 years later – granted, I was a kid and wasn’t nice to my Nintendo, but how many of us were?

I agree with Aces on this one, not to mention this one is way more aesthetically pleasing than the cartridge ones.
Our local independent gaming store has a table made from busted consoles, controllers, and cartridges. I’d rather see these items repurposed, than just ending up in a landfill.
