I’m curious, are the links already coloured or is the colour added to them after the chain mail is put together?

That is the neatest thing I’ve seen in a very long time!

They’re pre-coloured (anodized aluminum, to be exact). He planned out each segment, wove them ring by ring, and then later connected them all into this massive wallhanging 🙂
