nope. its not. it is still alive and kicking. The forums are getting larger everyday.
I just don’t post to the blog all that often anymore, someday I may start blog posting more regularly again.
We have thousands of members over on the FORUMS. We do regular challenges, craft swaps, charitable donations, Â admiration of each others work, pattern making/sharing and much much much more. If you liked the blog, you’ll like the forum more.
The forums are better because everyone gets a voice, everybody gets to post their projects. That way you get to see everything, not just what I feel is good or important. Its a community, not a top down dictatorship like the blog. so get over there and check it out, I guarantee you’ll like it.

I think you should maybe get some forum admin to do a weekly dump of some or all of the new stuff that’s going on. I’m not saying you have to, and I know you don’t want to “judge” people’s work to decide what is front-page-worthy, but I think there would be people that might enjoy seeing it.

youre totally right, and I should commit to something like that. One post a week wouldn’t be that bad…it just might happen…

Forums are also a lot more difficult to check regularly than a blog, since I can’t stick forums on my reader. If there’s a blog post to remind me, I’m a lot more likely to stop by and see what’s up in the forums.
