Looks like the cross stitch pattern was done on plastic canvas, cut out and then glued onto a hat. You can find blank half mesh (trucker) hats for around $5-8.
They are stitched onto a plastic canvas and then sown onto the hat. I’m so proud of my brother, he’s been coming to this site for a while and finally got something featured on here 🙂

Was it very difficult a thing to stitch? I would imagine the material to be quite thick & awkward to work w/. Cool idea
