this site rocks! i’m making my sister “The Many Phases of Mario” cross stitch from the sampler posted on this site. I’ve been looking for Mario-related cross stitch and this is best I’ve found. Can you do some mushrooms and clouds and other fun items from the Mario games?

This is probably the stupidest question youve ever been asked, but im just getting into the cross stitching. when in the directions area to figure out the size… im totally confused. the ones i have bought told me the frame size id need. like they were 5’x7′ which am i looking at as the sizing. theres grid size and design area as well what does the cloth count mean?

xstitchbelle – not a dumb question at all…the cloth count is the number of stitches per inch…
for example, an 14 count aida cloth has 14 stitches per inch. so a 5″x7″ piece of cloth would have a total of 70×98 stitches…make sense?

hey! i am just finishing up the same one u finished (dog holding duck) and i did it on red leftover canvas. well the picture is great but the background sucks…do you think if i did maybe 1inch of green solid at the bottom..and the top solid light blue that would be ok? or lame?
