It's a very time consuming project so you have plenty of time to figure out what you'll do with it once it's done. I reckon it's going to take me about a 2 years to complete this.
I never liked the idea of renting, either - why pay all that money to rent something, when you could put the same money towards owning? I mean, I know you can't always find something to buy, and sometimes you have to rent because you need a place to live - I just don't understand the people who rent for their entire lives. I'd rather just stay where I am - my parents don't bother me, I do whatever I want to, and (when I was working at least) I helped out with utilities and groceries. I'm still paying the cell phone bill (we're all on the same contract) but that's about all I can manage on my unemployment.

At least my mom is also into cross-stitching, so I swiped a lot of my supplies from her :P And since a skein of floss is usually enough for more than one project (unless it's something epic, like a Super Mario World map :D it's a much cheaper hobby when two people are doing it.

I have been eyeing this site for quite some time and seeing this pattern and WIP has pushed me over the edge and into becoming a member of this awesome community. Thanks for posting this pattern. Headed out tomorrow to buy what I don't already have and get stitchin'. So excited! :yahoo:

You will notice that I fixed that line of green stitches that bugged the hell out of me. The crosses all in the right direction and I can now once again sleep at night =P

I think I'm going to have to do some more of the sea this week. It's just so monotonous. -_- Not looking forward to that...

I'm not really liking the brown path colour..
Is it going to blend in with the rest?

I'm so glad people are doing this pattern! I saw it posted on the patterns board a few months ago and I really want to do it, but I can't have more than one large project on the go at once, but as soon as I finish my Hogwarts Crest I want to start this! Love the WIP pictures, keep em coming

This is my first time posting a WIP. I'm so in love with this pattern. This is after about 20 hours or so of work. Thought I was a stitchin' fool but after looking at the pic...I've done nothing. >.<

It's been a while since my last update. I haven't done as much work on this as I had hoped but it's progresses nevertheless.
I'm gonna try to make more frequent updates aslong as I make enough progress. =]

Hello everyone. Happy new year and all of that =P

I stopped working on this project for a few months to stitch the awesome 'Cucco Avalance' pattern by the stitching genius 'Servotron'. (Who is practically a next door neighbour I've just noticed) :P

I've now started working on this pattern again so I will be posting regular updates.
