I never liked the idea of renting, either - why pay all that money to rent something, when you could put the same money towards owning? I mean, I know you can't always find something to buy, and sometimes you have to rent because you need a place to live - I just don't understand the people who rent for their entire lives. I'd rather just stay where I am - my parents don't bother me, I do whatever I want to, and (when I was working at least) I helped out with utilities and groceries. I'm still paying the cell phone bill (we're all on the same contract) but that's about all I can manage on my unemployment.Squall5005 wrote:Similar situation to what I'm in. It's a very time consuming project so you have plenty of time to figure out what you'll do with it once it's done. I reckon it's going to take me about a 2 years to complete this.
At least my mom is also into cross-stitching, so I swiped a lot of my supplies from her
