I feel like a slacker now. I can barely find time for my little beginner project!
So, I'm doing a small video game quote and I should've bought blue fabric because all this cornflower blue (#792) background is starting to get boring. I can hardly wait to get to doing the lettering though that may have to wait awhile as the local Joann's is out of that color. (I bought the last two skeins today and, no, they don't have anything in the back.
)
Good news though is one of my coworkers gave me a BIG reference book on cross-stitch with these awesome Medieval/Celtic patterns in them (among others) all tied to a little project. She also gave me some plastic matting and Mickey Mouse patterns for that too. Apparently, she's done with the hobby and is bringing in a package of DMC floss for me tomorrow with an open offer to bring more in the week after next (midterm vacation). So, I guess I'm going to be well supplied for these next few projects!
Now to just get beyond the bore of filling in a blue background. :/
