Plus, if you waggle your eyebrows and say something like "hoist the anchor", everything takes on a rakish air.

"That's a fine little frigate!" *waggle waggle*

"Keep the tiller steady, eh?" *waggle waggle*

Other: Gambit (big shocker there. It's been where my nickname comes from for 15+ years.)
Other(s): The rest are hard to choose just 2. I do seem to enjoy the darker characters ie: Batman's Joker & Harley, Kim Possible's Drakken & Shego, Borderlands 2 Zero, my dark elf character from Skyrim, etc. I do enjoy playing the 'good' characters as well but I really get into the more villainous personas.

I chose Zelda, Yoshi, and "Other." "Other" being Mike from StarTropics. The idea of killing enemies by using things such as a yoyo and baseball bat has always been fascinating.

The X-Men cartoon introduced me to Gambit and I love the character. Not enough to actually read the comics or do extra research on the character but enough to make me boycot the X-Men films until they put him in them. LOL!

Also, Joker and Harley are two of my favorite villains and I thought about including them in my list but decided against it. Again, not enough to make me want to read the comics but enough that I consider myself a Batman fan...plus, I rather like the fact that Batman isn't some ultra hulked out superhero (I am, however, annoyed that he IS in the Arkham games blech).

I always assumed it was derived from the word relationship.
It annoyed me at first, too, but after a while it just came in handy, because then it sounded less weird when in context of relationships, I said 'Well that ship just sank', or 'That ship has sailed'. It's just simple to use with analogies of actual ships :D
Thankyou kindly! That makes sense.
