I want to chat about books with you guys! I love to read just about anything, and I'm pretty sure that a lot of us will have the same literary interests as we share the same gaming interests! So......does everyone know about Goodreads? If you don't, you should! Go check it out and sign yourself up https://www.goodreads.com/

If you already have a Goodreads account, or you make a new one, give us a link to your book list and we can add you as a friend! Here's mine https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/9 ... =%23ALL%23. Only rule is, no judging........my "knicker droppers" shelf is full of very intellectual stuff, I swear. :P

I'd love to find out what you're all reading and talk about books with like-minded folks.

Here's a link to my books. Some of the ones on my "read" shelf are not ones I own in paper or hardback, but rather as audiobooks.

I added you both and OMG PERSEPOLIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES TOO :yahoo: Warning, most of mine are boring or feminist-y.

https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/22773628 I think this is my url? I'm still figuring this site out as well as still adding books.

I mostly spend my time on Goodreads due to the book club Vaginal Fantasy. Its really quite fun, and nice and trashy usually. The other group I read with is Sword and Laser. They are both related to the Geek & Sundry crew of things. VF still has monthly shows and S&L has a podcast. Very different books, but always good selections.

Anyway, I'm here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/11 ... shelf=read

Eliste, I just joined both of those groups and I'm super excited. I'm already following felicia day and have read some of the books she recommends, but I didn't realize there was a group that she has. Love it!

Ducky, I don't think your books are boring at all! In fact I want to read many of them :) I used to read a lot more feminist lit, but I haven't been reading a lot of non-fic lately since my attention span is that of a 2-year old and a book has to have lots of action to keep me intrigued. Hopefully, this too shall pass, since there are so many non-fic books about awesome topics. Also, if you love Persepolis, you have to read Reading Lolita in Tehran, it's one my top 5.

Sofara, I love audiobooks too! I actually have a separate shelf for the books I've listened to rather than read the physical book myself. Audiobooks are awesome to listen to while stitching.

Yay, this is fun, I added all of you as friends.

I've been meaning to read Reading Lolita in Tehran forever! I haven't yet but I did read the author's memoir, I can't remember what it was called! Things My Mother Never Said maybe??? I loved it. I wish I still had it, I don't know where it went! Added you Eliste :)

I used to read all the time, but sadly have less time to read than I'd like nowadays. I was just thinking earlier that I tend to read (and re-read) the same kind of books, and perhaps I should try something new, but have no idea where to start! I shall definitely be checking out this site and looking into everyones recommendations!

I added everybody. :) Here is my, rather odd, book listings. :D

https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/3637241

I need to get back to reading. Spend way too much time on my computer! Although, I am actually...finally...hardcore reading Stephen King's IT after it's been sitting on the back of my toilet for 5 years.

I need to get some books read for the read-a-thon this year. I've been very lax and the years is coming up on the third quarter!
