If I had a cat, I'd name it either Totoro (even though his species is debatable) or Katniss (because I'm obsessed with THG and it has "kat" in the name). Or Link, of course :)

I wish our bully, evil, Satan cat would live up to her name...Joy.

Also, I had a hedgehog named Loki and he was a sweetheart...just sayin'. :D

As for kitteh names...we had a grey tabby once that we named Stormy. We had a grey rat named Tempest. I thought both of those were pretty good names. :)

Thanks for all the input, everybody! Here she is:

Her personality is kind of reserved and quiet. She really loves to snuggle, especially with my husband. :)

And yes, my dog's name is Jinglesniff, so there pretty much isn't a name I would be embarrassed to yell out my door! ;)

That's cute. :)

I forgot to mention that my kids have suggested Pickles and Cricket.

Aurora. Always found it to be majestic. And not common either. Common names for animals become really annoying after a while. As a dog trainer that's seen tons of Bellas, Lilys, Daisys, you confuse your pets after a while. I've never seen Aurora as a pet name, and I wanted to use it for a dog I would've gotten, but that fell through. Maybe it fits for your kitty

Aw....looks almost like my kitty that I got awhile ago but then had to give away due to moving back in with the parents. I named her Luna since she had the "M" on her forehead and I said it could stand for the moon. :)

Apparently it's a common cat name in my city but I just love it: Puddin. And no I didn't miss a 'g'.

When i got my little girl (wow, can't believe she's going to be 4 already) it was between Robin, Roo, or Critter. We mostly call her tiny s*** XD
Just remember, it takes them a few months to learn their name, so if you change your mind early on, shouldn't be too difficult.
