- Picking blanket fuzz out of any stitches... I have to freeze while I stitch since I discovered my blanket sheds like my rabbit...

- picking your own hair out of any stitches -- it's the one time I wish I had shorter hair
- having the floss knot while in the middle of something

Having your back hurt from sewing too long over a HUGE project (working on a 32ct 41.5cm x 53cm piece)

Having to wait for your stand to come in the mail so that you can sew again that HUGE piece

Finishing the only small cross stitch you have with you, while only a little way through a double lecture

Having to bus to get to the better wool shops, because the local Lincraft doesn't stock the obscure one you started using

Trying to chose which project to tackle next

Always poking/stabbing yourself with your needle. (I did this twice in the same day on the same hand. Once in my palm and again on a finger. Not fun.)

Posterior going numb in your comfy chair because you've sat in your comfy chair to stitch for so long that it's no longer comfy. Also feet going to sleep, and attacks of the munchies! :D
