Why is it that the pattern wiki appears to have not had new patterns since august '12? Am I missing something here?

As far as I'm aware the Admins of the Wiki are revamping it so that its easier to find patterns. There should be a thread somewhere in here that explains whats going on.

The person who used to maintain the "new list" disappeared from our site and never resurfaced. During that time the mods and I played around with a variety of ways to make searching for patterns easier. In the end we decided that the wiki was our answer but that it needed to be redone.

In short, we have a lot of catching up to do.

If anyone is interested in helping please "apply" here and/or ask me questions here.

Would a crafter or a computer guy be of more help? My boyfriend has a lot of experience with website admin, coding, etc., and thsi summer he'll have more free time that he knows what to do with... I could ask him if he wants to help, if you think that would be useful.

I would like people who are familiar with cross-stitch to make pattern pages (they need to understand stitch count and fabric count). There is literally only one tricky part to making the wiki pages and it's carefully explained in the "how to" page ;) We DO need someone to make a list with links to all the new patterns from August 2012, onward though so if he would like to do that we would be VERY grateful.
