Hahaha i'm with PaperRockScisorz....I would pity the person who got stuck with me. I'll have to wait until I get better before I punish someone with one of my creations :P

Have the May/June the craft swap, the July/Aug a contest, the Sept/Oct a stitch along, etc, etc. It may fill in the gaps for when you run out of ideas for contests.
interesting idea...ill have to think about this.

Or just give the choice of all three. Some don't like the competitions and others arn't interested in the craft swap or the stitch along. Everyone will be happy with all three. You don't need to do all three at the same time. They don't have deadlines like the comp. I sometimes don't do the competition but I would have liked the choice to do the stitch along :D

You may not have the time to do all three. The craft swap wouldn't have a deadline so wouldn't be a problem. It would be fair for all this way.

And the rule for the craft swap would be small/medium projects only. You don't need to spend too much time and money. Keep it light and save on postage too. If you're gonna send extra goodies (Like a packet of lollies or a crafting toy) then organise with your partner to send you something extra in return.

Also, make sure customs will let what you send through if you do end up sending food. It's not a big deal if you're in the same country, but you do have to be careful sending stuff to Australia (The land of quarantine).

I'm planning to do a swap every two months this year. But this will be spread around 3 different forums. I'd spend about 5-10 bucks (Probably less if I use yarn from my stash) on the project and 2 or 3 dollars on something extra. If I need to stretch to 15, I will. Then it's 10 bucks on postage (20 if it's heavy).

At the moment I have two pressies to make for people on another forum, then I'll be ready to send some of you guys something.

I think we'll hold off on this for a month or so and see how the stitch-a-long goes, maybe next two month period we'll try and get this going...
