East Coast Geeks Unite!
Just wondering if anyone on the forum is going to Otakon in Baltimore, MD. It's not until the end of July, but if anyone is going I'd love to meet/stitch with a fellow Sprite Stitcher. For anyone interested this is their site. http://www.otakon.com/ It's a great anime/ all things Japanese convention with a bunch of cosplayers (myself included
) Hope to see you there!

I typically go to Otakon as I live in the Baltimore area as well, but this year I just don't have the money and, too many people are out at work so I wouldn't be able to get the full weekend out of it anyway.
Shame since it would have been awesome to meet a fellow stitcher! ^_^

I have a table at artist alley there, but right now we're on shaky ground financially and may not be able to go. D:

I do have a friend who works at Ukazoo Books in Towson, MD who started up a stitching circle so I've been going to that. As for Otakon, you can at least come to the Inner Harbor for a day just to see the cosplay that's the best part!Laialda wrote:I typically go to Otakon as I live in the Baltimore area as well, but this year I just don't have the money and, too many people are out at work so I wouldn't be able to get the full weekend out of it anyway.Shame since it would have been awesome to meet a fellow stitcher! ^_^
