favourite video game music... oh where should i start...

my biggest video game music hero must be Hirokazu "Hip" Tanaka. he did the music for some early Nintendo games: "Metroid", "Kid Icarus" and I think he did the music for "Balloon Fight" too. The musicians name is not mentioned in any credits (I haven't found some info about it anyway), but it has the "Hip" Tanaka-ish use of the baseline. And the music for "Hello Kitty" for NES/Famicom is done by him and have some parts borrowed from "Balloon Fight".

Castlevania (NES/Famicom). Unfortunatly the musican used a pseudonym... "Joe Banana" or something... was it a "real" musican who were ashamed for doing video game music? dunno. but i wannano.

Last, but not least, I'm really into the Commodore 64-scene. Rob Hubbard, Ben Daglish, Martin Galway, just to mention a few.
The sound of the SID-chip is magic.
