What is this game?

This isn't really about stitching but I figured since this is a board full of video game nerds someone might have the answer. I'm trying to figure out what game I played. This is really, really bothering me. I cannot for the life of me think of what this game was. I really want to say it was Super Mario Deluxe on the Gameboy Color, but how it looks in my mind is not how I remember the game looking and I can't find my game so I can't figure it out. It was a level where you go to outer space. I think it might have been a hidden level. If anyone has any idea what game I'm thinking of I would love a reply.
