Past me had more free time. When I'm stitching these endless black fills I'm just thinking "Ain't nobody got time for that."

Re: Blackwork project!
Finally made it through the black hole that was the selected pencil tool:
My goal is to do all the background/borders next, and leave the rest of the tools for last, since those are quick and fun to stitch up.

Yup, that IS a blackhole! It looks great!
Any idea of how many skeins you've used so far?
Keep up the great work!

I'm gonna be honest I'm not entirely sure what blackwork is, but it looks like it would drive me crazy. It looks really good! It seems like you are almost done too. Good luck with the run to the finish line!

Re: Blackwork project!
Getting close, guys! Finishing up the border on the tool palette, then all that's left is the line thickness palette. Woo! I challenged myself to get this done before my baby girl is walking (...or was it crawling? if that's the case, it's long past haha.) and it's going to be a race to the finish line.
I've got other projects waiting impatiently in the wings, so have to knock this one out.

Re: Blackwork project!
Thanks! No; I haven't decided if I want to go with a standard frame size, or go fancy and get a custom one. I know I'll want to get museum glass either way, so I kind of feel like i might as well get the custom frame since the glass is the more expensive part. Buh; it will be expensive, but it's taken me so long to make I think it's worth showing it off.Pyper wrote:Oh wow that looks fantastic!Have you picked out a frame for it yet?

Decided to go fancy and have the custom frame ordered. Still so excited to have this one finished. Posted a photo of it pinned and mounted on imgur: https://imgur.com/gallery/boxN8
