I got to thinking after the recent pumpkin posts that we should have a quick challenge (deadline halloween, OCT 31st ) of a pumpkin carving contest. Most people are carving pumpkins anyway, and its done basically in one sitting, so the short deadline isnt that bad?
plus we need something to hold us over till a new challenge starts in NOV/DEC....what does everyone think??
I slap a big YES vote down for this, mainly because I've never carved a pumpkin before and this gives me a good excuse to do it! ^^
"Hey, <family member>, let's get a pumpkin and carve a sweet game thing into it cos there's another challenge on at Sprite Stitch!"
Yeah...that sounds good...*races off to make it happen*

I think I'll give this a go. Yeah, I'm a noob, but I've been reading my 1989 Nintendo Game Guide today and feel slightly inspired. Plus, this wouldn't get in the way of the Christmas projects.
I am so in. My bf has been doing gamer pumpkins from his own patterns for as long as I have known him (only two years, but I am confident the tradition will continue). He'll help inspire me. Can't wait to pick out the perfect pumpkin on Thursday.
