What games are you playing now, and why?

Currently I'm playing Zelda WW HD on WiiU and pokémon X (since launch day).

Can't wait to play Mario 3D World, Pikmin, MK8, DK tropical freeze on WiiU but for that I need to discover an oil well in my garden. Nintendo is ruining my wallet!

FINALLY MARIO KART 8!!

That's what I'm playing at the moment. We got it on launch and brought our Wii U to some relatives' house and played it with everyone, so that was exciting. Also taking some turns with Sonic Lost World, which isn't as bad as I was kind of expecting it to be.

My brother just got Mario Kart 8 today! he got a free driving wheel with it. Also if you register your MK8 before the end of July you get a free WiiU game!! We're gonna get Windwaker

I finally finished getting 3 stars in all the regular classes (50cc-150cc)! Just gotta do some Time Trails, then Ill hit up Mirror! I am very much enjoying it!

Anyone else be interested in a Sprite Stitch Mario Kart Online Tournament in the future?? I havent tried online yet but I thought I read you could set up tournaments for specific times with specific people. I could be wrong...

I'm playing Okami HD on PS3; Sonic Adventure 2, Valdis Story and Torchlight II on Steam; and yet more Theatrhythm on 3DS.

Also taking some turns with Sonic Lost World, which isn't as bad as I was kind of expecting it to be.

More recent Sonics have been very good, Lost World included. In my opinion as a long-time total Sonic nut, anything between Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and Sonic Colours was poor, except for Sonic and the Secret Rings because that was actually quite alright.

And when everyone refers to Mario Kart 8 as MK8, I keep thinking you mean Mortal Kombat (the one before the reboot)!

That's actually how we got Sonic Lost World. The SO doesn't really like Zelda games and we both like Sonic, so it seemed like a good choice.

I just started playing Pokemon Conquest last night and can't put it down. I had never played any of the Nobunaga's Ambition series before, so the closest comparison points I have are Fire Emblem: Awakening and Final Fantasy Tactics, both of which are excellent company. It's a little hand-holdy, especially in the opening sequences, but there are points where it rewards you for experimenting beyond what the tutorials and pop-ups suggest (such flipping a switch to electrify the floor in a quadrant of one arena, dealing damage to everyone who isn't immune). I appreciate that you don't capture wild pokermanz in pokercubes, but instead perform a rhythm-style minigame which simulates building a link between trainer and beast until the critter agrees to join forces with the trainer.

I can`t play in just one game, so right now I`m on Pokemon Y, Full Mojo Rampage for some mindless fun and Master Reboot(interesting game, but it`s hard to play in 3d for more than 30 minutes)

I don't play any of my games in 3D because it gives me a headache after about 10 minutes. LOL! I hate that question on the surveys at NintendoClub.com because I never use it. I'd like to...but I don't want to be in pain all day for a little bit of game time. lol
