Re: APR/MAY Challenge - Dragons!
Ok so I completed this over a week ago and then forgot to upload it until now.
Here's my entry: the bug that's a dragon but has funky types and moves: the Pokemon evolution of Trapinch -> Vibrava -> Flygon.
This Pokemon has always bugged me (harhar). It's a pokemon based on the antlion, which in larval form lives in the ground and ambushes other critters that fall into it's sand traps. Later it metamorphises into a delicate flying form, like real antlions - so far so good...
When I first saw this pokemon I was like "awesome! it's a bug-dragon!" but it's not. It's a ground/dragon... with wings... and no flying moves>.<
So here it is. A dragon... that really should be a bug... that can fly but doesn't uses it's wings... it would be really lame except that I kind of dig it's design.
The frame has a blending filament in it and was a pain to do and you can barely see it in the photos... ah well.

Love it kuja!
About your spoiler'd info - that's a shame! I got tons of BoF resources and was going to do a dragon from 3, but didn't find time.

Re: APR/MAY Challenge - Dragons!
Oh, Flygon, how I love your STAB EQ and your excellent typing. Dragon resists goshdarn everything (well, until Fairy), and Ground gets you Rock resistance and Electric immunity, both invaluable. Of course you take 4x damage from Ice Beam, but if you don't have something on your team that can soak an Ice Beam, you don't deserve your Flygon anyway.
IOW - I love it, kuja, and the blending filament came through fine - I spotted it before I read the text.
