Disney Dreams: Beauty and the Beast FINISH! 3/2/2014

I love this one, and you're doing a great job. My parents got me an Amazon gift card, so I'm thinking I may have to get one of these kits, even though my kit box is already full.

After 25 Weeks:
Cogsworth has made an appearance! I feel like it is slow going with 2 kids in the mix, like I am constantly having to start and stop when I even get a chance to sit down and work on it at all. I make the most progress at night after they have gone to bed. Then I can park my butt on the couch, watch Dexter (I only have the series finale episode left!) and stitch while my husband plays League of Legends. I think I will watch Downton Abbey through again after I finish Dexter. Anyway, here is my progress pic for the week:



I am getting soooo close, I can taste it! The partial stitches on the characters take a really long time though, so Cogsworth took basically my entire week. The next one of these that I do, I will do on an evenweave fabric to make the partials a little easier. Hope you like it!

Oh man this looks incredible! I did the smaller one of this and I got to all the backstitching and stopped lol I was so tired of it! I will pick it back up again but I needed a rest cos man there's so much! I can't imagine what you're going through but it looks spectacular! Keep up the great work! =D

26 weeks of stitching in, and a little more progress. Lumiere and the puppy footstool have come on board. Lumiere is done except for the backstitch and his flames, because they are done with the pearl filament blended in and I hate that stuff. I will try to force myself to do them this week Here is my picture for the week!

I didn't do an update last week, but here is my two weeks of progress:


All of the characters are completely stitched (not back stitch) and I think the rest should go pretty fast. Almost there! Hopefully another month and then I can start the back stitch and french knots!

Today I put in the last of the base stitching on this piece! There are 62,208 cross stitches on this thing, and I did every one Now for the plethora of back stitch and the multitudes of french knots I am super excited!!!!
