Hello, My name is Rob and I'm from Pennsylvania. Along with cross stitching, I enjoy Video Games and Anime(currently most of my time has been dedicated to GTA V). I've been cross stitching and lurking on this site for about a year now. I especially enjoy looking at all the creative ideas the people of this wonderful website come up with. I finally decided it was time I posted some of my own and figured the introduction page was the best place to start. I look forward to continued lurking in the future, but as a memeber.

I've only just come across this thread - I'm Simon, from the UK.

I'm a teacher, and that leaves very little time for stitching, but I do love to do it when I get the opportunity. I got hooked <5 years ago, when I was bored and happened to be in a fabric shop, I picked up a kit and haven't looked back!

Currently trying to teach (read: brainwash) my class to love sewing too...

Hello, I am a gamer from Ontario, Canada and I have a weak spot for crafty activities. I typically do beadwork and crochet but I recently got back into cross-stitching. I had No Idea that there was software out there to help me turn sprites into patterns. I've been manually making patterns for beadwork by looking at zoomed-in photos on GIMP and doodling on graph paper for years. I am so excited that I found this forum and got my passion for cross-stitching renewed!

Hello, my name is Natasha... but you guys can call me Kratos. (I hate my name, because of a specific marvel movie..).
I am a comic book fan (ironically a Marvel fan), and video game fan. I have been cross-stitching for years, and I started making my own patterns based on comic-book characters. I decided to join this forum to possibly post some of my patterns. I'm new to all of this, so I decided to introduce myself. (I'm scared of posting something and getting kicked out...?). I love mythology, folklore, comics, animals(mostly cats, and owls), video games (even though I'm not great at playing video games). I usually make and embroider my own patterns, but sometimes I like to embroider a few patterns from this site.

P.S.I hope I can be of some use, posting patterns based on comic book and misc patterns.
Someone will have to tell me the rules, because I'm not great with reading instructions.

Hello! I'm Jeff but you can call me Couch if you want to. I currently live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I've already made a couple posts that I consolidated into one big post for ease of updating things but I figured I'd take the time to formally introduce myself. I've been cross stitching on and off pretty much my entire life. When I was younger my parents would use it as a means to keep me distracted on long car rides and it's kind of stuck with me since then but didn't really do much in the last decade.

My route back to cross stitch was almost by accident. I also do origami, specifically unit polyhedron origami, and found a quick and easy pattern for a cube and instantly thought of the cube as a pixel. From there I started making larger projects of various sprites from older video games (1-up mushroom, black mage, chocobo, etc.). Eventually my thoughts turned to projects that were too large to be feasible using the cubes as a medium and eventually wound up turning back to cross stitch to get the ideas I had onto canvas. Research for my first two projects is how I was introduced to this site and this site is how I was introduced to KG Chart and that was pretty much game over. I have no plans to stop any time soon and have a lot of things I want to do so, for better or worse, you'll be seeing things from me for a while.

Hey everyone! I'm Tessa and, to be honest, I've been keeping an eye on the SpriteStitch blog on and off for a good four years :| I also apparently registered for an account on the forum three years ago, posted twice, and then developed very specific amnesia. But hey, I'm back now!

I absolutely love cross-stitching, though I'm currently attending college and thought that taking five classes was a stellar plan, which has left me with limited free time to stitch I can't say I'm particularly creative in creating my own patterns, but there are enough stellar patterns on here to keep me busy for a lifetime.
