I've just realised I haven't posted anything crafty lately, and thought I'd better change that. I made some wrist warmers over the weekend, using some pretty aluminium scales to give them a slightly unusual look.
These were pretty easy to make and took less time than I thought they would! I can't take credit for the idea - CraftyMutt http://craftymutt.blogspot.co.uk/ is a website I stumbled across and bought the pattern from.
Now I'm just waiting for it to get a little cooler so I can start wearing them!

I'm kind of in love with these
I wish I could knit better. Right now I'm making the longest, thinnest scarf ever....(I don't know how to stop....or do anything but knit and purl lol)

Those are so cool! I would totally wear those!
I just wish I knew how to knit, now. I only know crochet. Are these hard to make?
Maybe I can find someone to make me some. Anybody interested?

Thanks for the comments!
They were pretty simple to make, using standard knit stitch. The scales were a little bit fiddly to begin with, but got easier!
