Siberian Tiger Crochet

Hi Everyone!
Here is another one of my crocheted portraits, a Siberian Tiger. I did enhance the colors a bit to make it more artsy, so its not super realistic, but I like it all the same. I am currently trying to submit it to art shows. It was rejected from 1 already, but I have hopes for the next one.

For anyone interested, this piece was just accepted into ArtPrize 2013 (Grand Rapids, Michigan event). In case anyone is in the area, or likes going to ArtPrize, this piece will be located in the JW Marriott. This will be my second year at ArtPrize, and in the JW Marriott.

wow! this is amazing! I love to crochet but ive never done anything this big...its hard to tell from the picture but is it all in DCs? or is it tapestry crochet?

Hi ktbye, its actually all in single crochet. The stitch isn't hard, what's hard is knowing when to drag and drop colors for the best use of the yarn, and so that the colors don't show through when they're not supposed to.
