I know I'm super late on the whole pinterest thing, but I just really checked it out for the first time the other day. I found this AWESOME sprite of the movie poster from AKIRA. Now I have only seen this movie once, but my brother loves it, and has the movie poster in his room. I had to try to make it, and since it wasn't too big I gave it a go. Here is the stitch, and a side by side with the movie poster.

I thought I was the only one! Stumbleupon brought me to it.. and it was x-stitch patterns, no less. It was hopeless, I was hooked.

Is the Akira sprite poster done on 7ct or 10ct? I never think to use my plastic canvas with cross stitching. Your work looks great!

I can't decide which one is my favorite. I am torn between the Gandalf or Mario McFly.

Thanks for the pattern for the Gandalf. I want to cross stitch it and put it on my NCLEX book with "If you do not study YOU SHALL NOT PASS" on it.

I love the way the Megaman sprites look, and how so many different games/ people are being created in the Megaman style. I decides to try and design my own. If you are not familiar with the WWE, you may not know who this is, but one of my favorite wrestlers is Daniel Bryan. I designed this sprite of him doing his "Yes! Yes! Yes!" chant, and stitched it.

I came back to watching the wrestling after not watching it for quite a while; I was so surprised to see that Daniel Bryan looks like such a hobo these days! Love the little sprite though, it cracked me right up!

I know, right!? He's crazy hairy now. I really enjoyed making the Daniel Bryan one that I had to try to make my other favorite wrestler, CM Punk in the Megaman style.

I've been working on this piece on and off for a few months when I get bored with other pieces. I love the show community on nbc, and really liked episode where they had to play the game that pierces father created.
