Re: APRIL Stitch-a-Long - Samplers
I'm so excited & honoured that one of my designs was chosen! The reason I chose Yoshi was his cute tongue and Toad because I always played as him. So sorry to the sprite stitchers out there whose favourite kart wasn't chosen.

I've downloaded the band and I will start as soon as I feel up to it. Been fighting a flu bug for the last week and today is the first day I've actually felt halfway decent but my energy reserves are still pretty low. lolol

Re: APRIL Stitch-a-Long - Samplers
I wouldn't panic, or anything. I haven't started either! My daughter is ill and I've been spring cleaning and doing mod stuff and I'm always ill anyway! But I think the bands are small enough to work up quickly. Hope you feel better soon!MeiTow wrote:I've downloaded the band and I will start as soon as I feel up to it. Re: APRIL Stitch-a-Long - Samplers
I'm happy doing Mario Kart. I have a lot of good memories of it, and I love the Yoshi and Toad karts!
I went to Hobby Lobby to get some linen, but they were all out of it, so I got some nice 28 count evenweave. It's close enough. I'll be starting my band tonight. I definitely want to add some borders I think, maybe blackwork. I'm not sure yet.
I'm so glad we'll all be doing this together. Here's to some Sprite Stitch bonding! Hooray!
I really want to add the Sprite Stitch logo too. It should be able to be resized fairly easily.
