Charity Quilt(s) 2013

I've been searching for the fabric to do my square for MONTHS now and for the first time I find 16 count in my local Micheal's. And it's antique white. The first post says off white. Does this count? Cause if not, I think I'm just gonna go insane!!!!

What color do you think the background should be?

dark blue, maybe with some white/yellow flecks for stars?

Antique white is fine. As long as it doesn't look more cream or yellow than it does white. There will be some squares where you can see a little of the aida (from shrinking and stretching), which is why it needs to be uniform.

Thanks for the quick answer, but it doesn't even look like I can use this fabric anyway, because while its more white than cream it keeps coming out to 5 5/8 x 6 1/8 or 5 1/2 x 6 depending on where in the giant roll I measure. So now I shall sit in the corner and glare at it until next weekend when I shall try AGAIN at the three different stores I've been checking for Aida.

I had to buy mine online 'cause I couldn't find the right size in 16ct in any of the stores I checked.

So, I'm changing the image I was going to use for my Sailor Moon: Another Story square. I didn't like the one I originally chose.
