This is a great thread - I'm loving seeing your progress!
I am too impatient so all my projects have been little ones but something like this could just inspire me to tackle a big piece!
Keep it up!

You can still create a big piece out of small stitches, how about stitching parts of your favourite game separately then arranging them into a large frame to produce a unique picture?
Eg. Sew a small Link (legend of zelda) then lots of separate chickens then a separate quote then arrange them in a frame to make it look like Link's about to get attacked by chickens! That way they are just a handful of small stitches rather then a huge one and it would certainly be more unique!

That is a great idea! Can't believe I didn't think of it earlier - I can be such a numpty!!!! Thanks for the suggestion. I'm working on loads of birthday/anniversary cards at the moment but will start planning a potential project to make bigQueenBex wrote: You can still create a big piece out of small stitches, how about stitching parts of your favourite game separately then arranging them into a large frame to produce a unique picture?

Re: Large Avengers WIP
haha! No problem! My aunt recently gave me two huge frames, (neither big enough for this Avengers one though) and so I'm planning a college of small stitches that best represent me as a person. So my stitching signiture, my favourite game characters, perhaps something from Blackadder, quotes from my favourite comedian, the dA symbol from deviantart, thinking of designing a coat of arms with pencil, pen, needle and thread, paintbrush. Perhaps some celtic design, and a cute animal. Things I love basically.
