Re: Introductions
Oh dear...that was what I was going to do, but with the shot of the Algo system in the centre. I have special dyed material for it and everything :O

IDEA! Let's just do them anyway! And share a work in progress thread up in Stitching Craft Projects! Everyone's happy!Lileya wrote:Awwww, no!! ;_; Oh well...blackmageheart wrote:Oh dear...that was what I was going to do, but with the shot of the Algo system in the centre. Re: Introductions
Well, I was gonna do it no matter what (no offense ;o and it also cost me like 80$ of floss!! XD), but its a really good idea to share a "in progress" thread. Alright, I'll make a thread once I start it if you haven't made one already!blackmageheart wrote:IDEA! Let's just do them anyway! And share a work in progress thread up in Stitching Craft Projects! Re: Introductions
Ok attempt number two for posting this lol. Hi everyone, I'm Adam. I'm from a small town in eastern Pennsylvania. I've been doing pixel art for over a year now but mainly it was perler bead art. I came here from someone mentioning this site on my other forum pixelgasm. Sorry, my user name is long and lame but it's what I use on pixelgasm so it's just easier for me. I've only recently gotten into cross stitch the last few months but i'm really enjoying it so far. I've made some keychains but nothing too extravagant like I've seen in some threads. I really like how you can get colors much more accurate with cross stitch than beads because there are just so many more shades of DMC floss than bead colors. I'm really looking forward to sharing my projects with everyone and learning from the veterans around here!

Re: Introductions
Hello everyone! I'm Jen, and as you might be able to tell by my username, I'm a huge Zelda geek.
I live in Florida with my girlfriend, who is also a huge Zelda geek. I've been lurking for a while now and finally got around to making an account so I can (hopefully) participate in this month's contest. I used to think cross-stitching was boring, but then I discovered this place and realized that I wasn't limited to just the things from my grandmother's catalogs. I've got a lot of ideas for things I want to stitch, so all I need is the time to stitch them.
That said, I'm pretty good at trying to bite off more than I can chew. I just finished up my Christmas gifts last night. We were in such a hurry to get them wrapped and mailed that I forgot to take any pictures. Whoops. Next time, I'm definitely going to start stitching things sooner. For now, I think I'm going to mostly stick to smaller projects. I think I need more practice before I tackle anything very large. (And now that I've said that, watch me start something big in the not too distant future.)

Re: Introductions
Hello! I've been meaning to register here since I discovered this forum, but that turned into lurking for about a year. Work, work closing, school again after 15 years..life. Anyway, I'm Stephanie, I come from a small town near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm a beadweaver, not sure whether my posts would go into beading or stitching lol. I absolutely LOVE this forum and I spend at least two hours browsing when I come here. Anyway, my chosen medium for pixel/game art is Delica #11 seed beads and a loom or square stitch. When I found this forum for the very first time and saw the Perler art, I said to myself, it's the perfect media for seed beads. And since the Miyuki line has over 971 colors, you can get very very close if not spot on, the actual sprite colors. I figured it was time to stop hiding and register here, and I look forward to meeting everyone!

Hello! I'm Jen and live in Florida with my hubby. I use to work with yarn and an E needle but have switch over to cross stitching...someone mentioned cookies to me. My current project is Etna from Disgaea, in between tracking down some sprites from Odin Sphere (which is more like searching for a unicorn...cause holy cow!) and plotting out a very large project that may or may not eat my soul.
Yeah...I got nothing else.

I live under a rock, where it's nice and cool.
