just curious; what's with the seemingly random protruding rows of blue stitches on the right side?

I was a little suspicious how it was going to turn out with all that blue background but it looks really great, just makes spidey pop even more. Great job, we need to have more guess the projects.

I made a mistake when I was stitching it, so I had to move some blocks of colour one stitch to the left. It was just easier to leave those stitches than unpick them.
