So you're doing one too? Post the wip if you will!
In my pattern the colours have nothing to do with the one I used! It's just a graphic, you must choose the ones you think it fits best...

Yay! Thank you for the pattern - definately going on my ever growing list of things to do How big did you make your granny squares? I haven't done crochet before but this seems a good starter project?(Apologies if I am completely wrong) If not I might just have to knit it....I need to stop adding projects on to my "to do" list!

I'm not an ace in crochet and I did it! So I think it will be a good starter project!
Granny squares are easy to make but, if you get bored by repetitious work, they will crush your enthusiasm!
My granny squares were about 7cm (the whole blanket was 180cmx180cm)!
