I finally came up with an idea!! It's not so much video game related as it is just nerd/geek related... but I'm pretty stoked to have a chance to use my glow thread!

My only problem with doing something like this, is that I'd be paying in Canadian money, which we all know is not really money. :P Especially since we started making it out of plastic.

I did find a quilting store in Arnprior that has carried glow-in-the-dark thread before, but the owner said it's been back-ordered for a very long time. Perhaps if they get some in before the end of November, but there will always be another challenge. And swaps. :D
Is there not a currency conversion through Paypal? I've bought things through Etsy before that were listed in foreign currencies and by using Paypal, I was able to pay for those items.

There is. You can buy things in a foreign currency and Paypal will automagically convert it for you. :)

Would that work if someone was sending me money marked as "gift"?

I got the go-ahead from hubby to buy some glow in the dark thread online. We only found expensive stuff earlier tonight, but I've been browsing amazon and the like, and found some fairly inexpensive stuff. AND I can get white and yellow, which is exactly what I need for my L.O.Z. piece. :yahoo:

I've never bought anything from amazon.com before; has anyone here had any experience with the site?

Ok so I definitely caught the glow bug! This piece is very similar to my first piece in that it is another face of Jack Skellington and it is a blackwork type background on it as well. THe difference is this this blackwork is actually swirls...which in person is very cool...very hard to get a good pic of this so please go easy on the quality of the pic.
