LOL! Yes, we're positively geriatric. In our early 30s with one foot in the grave.
But seriously, I think it's exciting that carand88 has already sent hers. The anticipation is the best part.
Mine is coming along swimmingly. So far I'm concentrating on one item, but whether I make more items will depend on how far I take the first one... Usually I have exactly in mind what I'm going to do, but this one is a little more organic. I'm happy with it so far.

Sure! I stuck mine in there early to save me struggling with it later. See, I plan ahead, that way I don't do anything right now. (10 points to anyone who knows where that comes from )
I'm working on my gift now. It's going...ok. Hard to define its actual status at the minute!
As usual, although I have an idea of what the finished thing will look like, I'm winging it on the way there

I'm almost done with mine I think I could be done by the end of next week (but I always put off mailing stuff so....)
I'm really happy that I got this done so fast since I'm trying to make Christmas presents this year for 10+ friends of all different sizes and it's occurring to me now how much time it's going to take.
It's good that people can finish quickly, but to the people still working away - don't panic and don't feel like you have to rush. That's what the time is for

Did anyone else read this the wrong way?

My "big" gift is coming along... okay. I'm now wishing I would have made something else so I could have got some tips on how to make this... thing. I'm so used to getting input and help that it's hard to keep it a secret!! But, I'm powering through and know it will be worth it in the end!
If you are my swappie, don't worry! I'm making some other tried-and-true gifts in case this doesn't turn out

Thanks heaps for the offer, but I already ordered the colours off ebay.
Wow, people are already finishing up their gifts??? I've still got ages to go! School holidays start next week though so I'll have plenty of time to work on them!
