Indeed, they will! I will get a jump on them, then, since I know someone's interested.

Here's Bowzer's castle and the Forest of Illusion mini maps.

In making all of these little ones, I'm being very editorial about keeping the color choices consistent. In the process, I'm also making a single PC stitch file of the giant main map that matches all the colors I'm using, so if you're interested in getting that as well instead of the 4 part files, wait around for a bit :)

Also on the Special World, if you didn't want to include the Mario icon, you could stitch the first line of the map using the pattern for the second line.

One more to add, this one with my first significant changes.

I changed the waves in the water to ecru instead of grey; in the game they really don't look that dark to me. I also changed the tall "hills?" to a darker shade of green.

When I post the full map, it will include those changes as well.

Bah!

I realized that PC-Stitch didn't import the 3 shades of green in the grass, so I've deleted the previous posts's files and uploaded new ones. If you already downloaded the other one, please get this one instead.

Here's the big one... The full SMW map in one pdf or .pat file.

I have made a few color changes from the original, so don't switch over between the two!! If you are starting new though, you could choose either.

The only change I made other than colors was I made the "!" buttons up instead of pressed. I know if you had the whole game map visible, you probably would have used the buttons, but I just prefer the way they look up. I can post a mini pattern of the buttons pressed down if anyone wants it (or you could just refer to the original file).

Enjoy!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to FunkyMonkey for posting those inset mini maps! When I first saw the original the first thing I thought of was if I would be able to add little "mini maps" on the sides, too! I will probably actually start with the mini-maps, and then go for the big SMW map at the end. Or work on mini maps and work on the stitching the massive amounts of water on the SMW map in between...I'm still trying to make a plan for this massive project!

These are awesome! Are you going to make a mini map of Star Road?

Yes, I'll get one up of the rest of the screens. Vanilla Dome, Star Road, and I'm probably going to do a screen shot of the title screen as well.
