Oops, I almost forgot about this one...
It has been halfway done a while and I ran out of blue
Then I realised that my zelda project has the same blue in it! Yay!
I stole some from it and finished.
"Oh Link.... Your not supposed to put it ON your head, it's OVER it...."
Hooo, great entries, Celebriwen & Jadely !
I love what you've done...
I regret I had to abandon this challenge...
I couldn't fine enough time with the big swap...
Same for me. My swap partner is more important right now. In case anyone wanted to know - I was working on a scene from Castlevania in which Magus was sending those bubbles against Dracula and the quote was going to be "I'm the prince of darkness and you give me f@&*%ing bubbles?!". Sigh. Maybe I'll be able to finish it up after the fact.
Current projects:
Leftover swap gifts
HP House Scarves
Secret of Mana charity square
Vid game advent calendar

Due to lack of foresight, I managed to make it EXTREMELY difficult to attach the pieces onto the background - due to this, some of the pieces are not quiet within the boundaries of the size we were given. They all fit, but my aim was off when I was attaching them. The books on the left also look really crooked in the photo... I think I bumped them >.< As I've already drawn blood once today on this project I think I'm calling it "done."
lol well I can give you all the patterns but the colors will be wrong. I got the bookshelf from Zombies Ate My Neighbors of all places ;)
The stack of books is from Phantom Brave just like the (modified) sprite and the speech bubble I made from scratch.
I like how everything came out (mostly) but I wish I had sitched the bookshelf with 3-strands or on the clear plastic (I used white) as you can see the plastic through the stitches when you get close.
I also wish I had attached the pieces to the background BEFORE I glued backings over them. Shoving a needle through glue/plastic/thread hurts!
