Very nice, Izzy!
I'm really enjoying the more diverse range of images we seem to have this time around!

Oh yeah this quilt is going to have something for everyone! I'm going as fast as I can on the second one and I think it's turning out quite nicely. Here's a preview of what I've got so far. What do you all think?

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
Sorry if this has already been asked, I can only get 13"x15" aida in 16 count without ordering online (and paying too much for shipping). Is this big enough? It seems like it will have lots of extra fabric still from a 6" square...

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
It has been asked already, but that is ok. It needs to be 15"x15". I know this is a lot of extra fabric, but the fabric is needed so after I wash and iron them, they can all be cut down to the same exact size. Also, after being cut down, there still needs to be a 3-4 inch border (12-14 inches total) in order to sew to the border fabric.

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
Don't forget, our deadline is starting to approach. I MUST receive the squares no later than September 1. If I get them Sepetember 2, I can't use them. I would even prefer to get them August 1, that is when I will start making the first quilt. So please make sure you send them in plenty of time.
I received two in the mail when I got home from Too Many Games yesterday. Lord Libidan sent me his Bastion and his Sonic squares and they look AWESOME. If you have pictures of them, put them up. I am getting excited and can't wait to get started!
It was funny, I had a guy loving the quilt from last year and he asked "so it is sold then?" I explained what we do and to watch my site because we may have one to sell to the general public.
I was also thinking, if we get enough squares and decide to sell one on our own, we could theoretically hold on to it and sell it after the dinner is over. We could sell it during January and I could display it at Magfest (one of the largest Gaming conventions other than Pax). That would definitely get a LOT more attention and may be able to raise more money. Just something to think about and decide in September.
