Fourteen Weeks:
Ta da!!!! I have reached the bottom! Just in that one little column, but still. I was able to do a little bit on the balcony, and the rest of what I have there is greenery and some purple and pink flowers. I was really hoping to finish that whole corner, but I still feel like I got quite a bit done this week. I'm hope to do the base stitching for the town this next week, we shall see! Also, there is a close-up picture of the left side that I've been working on the last few weeks.

I am soooo inspired by watching your progress with this! I really want to make one (or all!) of the Disney Dreams collection. I may be able to convince my fiance to buy the new Lion King kit for me *crossing my fingers*.

Thanks for the great comments - sometimes it feels like I'm going sooooo slow with this, but it helps to look at the week-by-week pictures. I would love to see some other WIPs on here of some of these patterns - the Lion King one is really pretty! It helps me keep going when I can see other people making progress, too.

Yahoo! I was at Hobby Lobby last night and saw the Lion King kit. My fiance happened to be with me, and he bought it for me! Yay!

I got started late last night so I don't have but a few stitches done, but I will start a new post to keep track of my progress. We can keep each other motivated to finish!

That's awesome, Sasha! So far Beauty and the Beast has been a huge undertaking, but I am enjoying it soooo much. I can't wait to see your work on The Lion King!!! Keep us posted (also, I subscribed to your blog so I'll be watching for it there, too)

Fifteen Weeks:
So I was able to finish the balcony and the flowers on it, and then I was able to do the base-stitching for the town! Yay! I have seen a couple of other peoples' progress online of this piece and I really like how the town has turned out so far. I love the little lines of smoke coming up from the chimneys It will be even better once the backstitching is in, but we all know that I am saving that for later I started the little part of the river, too. Yay pictures!
