Hi All,

I'm Jeannette, I'm 35 from Cheshire in the North-West of the UK.

I've been stitching on and off for as long as I can remember and stumbled across this site when I was looking for a Totoro (as in My Neighbour Totoro) cross stitch pattern as my husband had just got me a Totoro soft toy! I've downloaded one of the patterns you had on here and am just waiting for the right threads to arrive in the post before getting started!

Although I love to stitch I have a very demanding job so don't get as much time to do it as I would like. And I'm not very fast at it so I like doing little projects! We're both in to games and have just got a PS3 and love anime films too (as well as Disney/Pixar stuff - just big kids really!).

Introductions, introductions.

My name is Lin and I'm a twenty-something eternal student (7 years and counting sigh)
I dabble in a bunch of crafts without mastering any (cross stitching, crochet, knitting, embroidering, all kinds of beads, I started most of those as a little kid so I had time to try a bunch) but right now I'm focusing on amigurumi and cross-stitch.
Video game wise, my favourites are the Baten Kaitos series, Tales series, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, and Mother, though I have a strong preference for Mother 3.
I'm also one of those people who can cook and bake, and I like writing questionable fanfiction.

I also have a Zelda- and Kirby- obsessed little brother, so some of my projects will deal with that sigh.

Hi everyone!

My name is Becca, 19. I have just recently started cross stitching so I'm not that good yet. Other crafts that I make include Felt Plushies and hama bead sprites. I have also done a few bits of cosplay.
When I'm not crafting, I'm either at university studying Computer Science or Gaming. One of my main hobbies includes retro video game collecting - on that note I'd like to say you guys have cool sprites here!

Most of my time spent on the internet is on RetroCollect, a great retro gaming site with the loveliest community!You should check it out if that's your kinda thing My collection isn't huge, but it's the biggest I've seen out of anyone I personally know.

I'm Virginia..
I play a lot of games.. a lot. I'm 30, married, have a 5 year old daughter, and I get to stay at home and make stuff. =)

I'm traditionally someone who does pencil drawings and watercolors, who likes to craft stuff on the side. However, a while back I decided to get my brother a case for his DS.. I didn't like the options I had to buy them, so I decided I'd cross stitch a shyguy and sew it onto a case for him. I posted a pic of it online and started getting orders for similar thingies.. So that's kinda just what I do now.

I really enjoy coming up with new designs.. especially super detailed scenes =)



oh yeah.. and I enjoy all sorts of games.. pretty much every genre except flight sims... cause flight sims are dumb.

My name is Lizzie and I am a 25 year old Zelda and Harry Potter obsessed girl from Australia. I've been cross stitching for years, starting out with kits and moving on to patterns.

I stumbled across your forum by chance after reading so many stitching blogs. I'm glad I did because I think i'm set for life with all the patterns I want to stitch.

When I'm not stitching, I'm at work (which I am now) or hanging with the bf. I xstitch while he games Twice a month, my best friend, my boyfriend and I record a podcast on the "latest and greatest in popular culture". I am an almost qualified journalist and this year have the tremendous pleasure of being able to meet (an interview) some of the most amazing people, including the amazing Stan Lee. I am also Head Baker for my own side business called Bake Eat Love - Cakes and Cupcakes by Lizzie.

Hi, I'm Paige, I'm 21 and currently from Brighton as I'm at uni there. I study molecular genetics, love pc rpgs (especially aveyond), pokemon, studio ghibli films and sailor moon.

I started cross stitching when I was around 11 but only recently picked it up again when I randomly decided that I would make cross stitch Christmas presents. I also like other forms of stitching and recently stitched a teddy bear for my boyfriend.

My current project is a cross stitch version of me and my little sister for her 21st birthday.

Hi guys! I'm Amanda, out of Omaha, Nebraska. I learned to cross-stitch when I was a kid, gave it up like you do many things as a kid...went to college and started playing video games (and studying them in grad school too!). Didn't put the two interests together until I recently started looking for a new hobby and discovered that cross-stitch can be more than big-eyed puppies and flower borders! I work full time so I usually only get an hour or two a night to work on things, and that competes with time playing video games of course, but I'm excited to be into it! I'm doing a couple small projects to start out but I want to get the point of making my own cool patterns too.
