I think it's supposed to be an unaltered screenshot (except for colors of course). I wanted to change part of the background border in mine too but I think it's agaist 'da rules.

Thought I'd show you guys how I'm doing, so here is a WIP of my Pokémon HGSS patch -

I think I'm up to about 75% complete, with mainly smaller details to finish off. It's gone pretty well so far, although matching some of the colours has been a real pain!

Anyone else have a WIP to share?

Yeah, I wish I did. I started on my Monkey Island one. So far I have an arm that you can't tell is an arm and some water that you can't tell is water! :)

so I started mine and then ripped it all out (2.5 days worth!) because I found a better screen shot and made a new pattern... I reduced the amount of detail in the background (the browns) but since that's not the point of interest it should be fine. I'm happier with the amount of detail I was able to pull from this screenshot.

I haven't started the new pattern because I realized that I better finish the Jan/Feb challenge first :)

I haven't started either ; I'm currently working on my January/February Challenge too :D (I made almost 1/6, but I started it a bit late)
I'll try to finish it before end of February, so that I can start my square for the Charity Quilt ! I received all I need, I can't wait to start now :yahoo:

I still have to order my aida... plus, I've got the challenge piece to finish. I'll be off vacation in a week, though, and I can get the fabric ordered then. I'm itching to get started - my wife has been playing FFVI, so I can't get the opera music out of my head. :banghead:

I haven't been able to get it out of my head since I heard it at Distant Worlds in London in November. I feel your pain! :D

I hate you both. Years of final fantasy music are now filling my brain. It took weeks to get out last time... :P
Mind you, good stuff...
