Yurtle-- I love the top one! He looks so colorful!
Izzy-- Very jealous of your FF one! I'm not very good at the realistic patterns, so I stick with the easier to pixelate oldies :/

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
I've picked one of my favorite series for my square - Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross.
Not sure what I'm doing the CC yet, but here's my design for my CT square: It's always one of the first scenes from such a great game that came to my mind.

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
Yay I'm excited my square from last year can still be useful. Figure I will only sign up for one new square for now, don't want a repeat of last year, might change my game after I brainstorm some more. But I'm glad that there will be a second quilt.

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012

I love the "Sam & Max" and the poor Guybrush Threepwood on the sea...

From which Zelda game comes the "Sanctuary" one ? it's pretty cool too

And the FFXIII looks great also, but it must contain a lot of colours, doesn't it ?
How many stitched squares shall the Quilt have ?
If you're OK I'll do the Assassin's Creed square :

Kg Chart says it has 37. But i'll edit it a bit, so it'll probably end up having more! My first non-sprite based pattern, so I want it to be as perfect as possible!La Ptite Bete wrote:And the FFXIII looks great also, but it must contain a lot of colours, doesn't it ?

Great Assassin's Creed patch, by the way

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
So far every square that has been put up is definitely ok for the quilt. I am also in love with the FF one. I may have to make squares for my own quilt one day!
The number of squares doesn't make a difference. We did a 20 square quilt last year with 16 stitched squares (I had to fill in for 4 squares with embroidery) but it turned out great. I could make the quilt larger, or make 2-3 quilts, but I can always fill in with embroidery.

I'd really love to be involved in this, but I'm not really that great at finding or making patterns. Still learning KG so I'm a noob ha. If anybody has or wants to make extra patterns please PLEASE send me a message I'd love to stitch a square. If anyone is up for it I love Bioshock, Assassin's creed, Uncharted, Super Mario, F-Zero...or really anything. Thanks!

If you find something you think might look good as a pattern I'll make one for you. I think bioshock and assassin's creed are now taken, but the others are ok. See what you can find and send me a PM.star2assassin wrote:I'd really love to be involved in this, but I'm not really that great at finding or making patterns. Still learning KG so I'm a noob ha. What does everyone think of this as a bioshock pattern?
Needs a little bit of fine tuning i think, but not much...

Re: Stitching for Charity 2012
Love it!! Thisis going to be awesome Bioshock, Assassins Creed, FF, etc. If we get enough squares for 2 quilts and it falls that way, I may aplit them up by modern or retro. But I can't plan all that until next year when I have all the squares.
I love the 96x96 stitch area, it is just enough for the details you guys are doing. I can't wait until I FINALY get done my SMB3 World 1 map. I may stitch up my own modern games quilt.
