Re: Introductions
I figured I should do an introduction..
I'm Dylan, a 19yr old guy from Manchester, UK
I've always liked the look of cross stitch, but not really been interested in the...fluffy stuff that is all you ever really see. So I am SO glad I found this site.
So far I have done two medium sized (about 10~ inches) pieces and I am REALLY enjoying it.
So yeah, only been doing it for a few weeks.
This hobby has already turned out to be way more expensive than I thought it would be...But more satisfying than most of the other crafts I do/have tried.

Re: Introductions
Hello. My name is Julie and I am 35 and live in North Carolina, USA. I have been cross stitching since I was little and begged my mom to teach me. I am also an active gamer so this web site is perfect! I look forward to starting all the patterns I have been downloading (thanks in advance to all the wonderful pattern makers). I am also very excited to participate in the upcoming challenges. Can't wait to get to know everyone better and to see all the great things you create.

Re: Introductions
Hello everybody!
I stumbled across this site when I was looking for nerdy things to cross stitch for my dear boyfriend! Thought I would join and introduce myself.
I am Vivi and I have only been cross stitching since August. I am a fast learner and have completed a two so far! My boyfriend's mother is a wonderful teacher and I'm grateful to have this as a hobby now. I am twenty one and I live in the southern state of Georgia. I hope to make friends with you all on the forum and share my creations as well. <3

Re: Introductions
I'm Aridesh. I will be 20 next month and I do cross-stitch, perler, and the occasional latch hook... for now! I'd eventually like to teach myself more crafts.
I found this site a couple of months ago while looking for a companion cube pattern to use as part of a sampler I was trying to create a pattern for. I've been hooked ever since, reading the forums and adding tons of patterns to my to-do list! I finally decided that if I was going to be on here anyway, I may as well be able to post! I even got my husband into cross-stitching, and he joined the forum as well! He wanted to create video game crafts once he saw the site! And, he's pretty hooked now too.
I log on pretty much every day! I'm addicted! I absolutely love it here and will definitely continue coming back for more!

Re: Introductions
Hello everyone,
My name is Bobby and I'm in the US Air Force so I move around but, right now I'm stationed in Ohio. I started cross stitching when I was about 10 but I kind of lost interest. I was recently looking at some of the projects I've done and I decided to pick up the hobby again. While browsing the net looking for something that would pique my interest I stumbled upon this site. I discovered KG-chart for the first time also and decided to try and make my own pattern. I've completed it and it will be my first video game related pattern. I hope to do some more that I've discovered on here. Thanks for having me!

Re: Introductions
Hello Cross Stitchers!
I am absolutely new to the board and to cross-stitching in general, but as soon as I ran across the site I knew I had to jump right in.
I look forward to talking, learning from, and getting to know everyone.
I am certainly into gaming and "internet culture", have two young boys, and am addicted to Reddit, lol.
Talk to everyone later, its time to start checking out all these projects.
Thank you for the Forums and site!

Re: Introductions
Hi all!! Wanted to Intro myself! My name is Jennifer, 27 years old and currently living with my boyfriend (whom I've known since we were 13) in Washington state. My boyfriend is currently stationed on the USS Nimitz and is getting out of the navy early next year, so we are very happy that he doesn't have any more long deployments! And we can move wherever we want!
I've been x stitching since I was a kid, mostly from kits which had the x's stamped on them! My first counted cross stitch was a rose bookmark I did a few months ago to gauge how hard I thought it was! I wanted to do something video game related for my boyfriend and happened upon this site which is the best site EVER!!
Glad to be here with all you good people!
p.s. i LOVE all LOZ games!!
